Another funny quote from "The Little Book of Stress"
"Communication Breakdown: If you are stressed, make sure you communicate this to those around you. Soon they will be stressed."
HAHAHAHA Isn't that the truth. They say misery loves company, so make everyone else around you miserable!!!
hahahahahaBy the way. Paul has decided to add another suffix after his name and become a certified managerial accountant(CMA). It is just like the
CPA and is just as hard...and will be just as stressful. I guess he thought 2 bachelor degrees and a masters degree was not enough. Did I say something about stress earlier???
I had a super successful weigh in. My biggest loser this week is Ms. K(I will not divulge their real names to protect their privacy) She lost 5 pounds this week!! Running a close second was Ms. L who lost 4 1/2 pounds. Ms. B lost 2 1/2 pounds and Ms. S lost 1. Mr. C lost 2(for a total of 10 pounds this month) I have several other clients who weigh in on Monday as well. I am trying to get everyone
coordinated on one day but some clients I train only once a week, some twice, some 3 and some 4. My biggest losers are the ones who I see 4 times a week and the runner up being the one who I see 3 times a week. One of my clients(who I see twice a week) had to cancel today and I thought she would pull at least 3 pounds but will have to wait and see. They have all worked really hard in the gym during our training sessions and doing their
cardio and have been dedicated in sticking to their diets! Congratulations to you all!

Here is a picture of Paige from yesterday. She is really in to headbands lately.

Here is a picture of Paul and the kids at the Riverbanks zoo from March 28. His company sponsored a day at the zoo.

Me.

Matthew looking all grown up...He will be turning 12 in a few short weeks.

Connor. If you look close enough you can see a chunk of hair missing in the front. He thought it was getting too long and tried to cut it himself.

Ethan. Already sporting his summer haircut.
These are the latest and greatest pictures from our clan.
So tomorrow is weigh in day for several of my clients. I get kind of stressed on this day thinking about tomorrow. Some of these clients are working so hard with their weight training, doing
cardio and sticking to their diet...I hope I can sleep tonight!
Life is busy trying to keep up with the house and the kids and all their projects but it is all good. Nothing too spectacular is going on. Paul fluctuates with how busy work is but is hanging in there.
I realized I haven't posted pictures in a long time so maybe I will try to go capture some now to post...
My friend Jill lent me a book called "The Little Book of Stress: Calm is for wimps. Get real. Get stressed." The book is hilarious. Here is a quote: Schedules: Make them whenever possible. Include an unrealistic number of tasks. Agonize over why you are constantly falling behind.
Things here are going right along. I heard from my parents this week. They just started another mission and are serving a family history mission in Salt Lake City. My dad discovered a missing link which brings back part of our ancestry to before Christ! Cool! I went up yesterday to Charlotte to visit my sister. We went to the YMCA and I took her through a legs and back/biceps workout, showed her a chest/ triceps and shoulders/lower back workout and gave her a 4 day workout regimen for her to do and went over diet stuff.
I had a pretty good week with my clients. One of my male clients lost 3 pounds this past week. My female clients were not to be outdone, I had one lose 1 pound this week which was her goal, one lose 4 pounds(she just started and her ultimate goal is over a hundred pounds!) and another lose 2 pounds. I did monthly measurements on one client and she has lost 15 pounds since we started 2 months ago! I changed up some people's workouts as they have progressed and changed up some diets as they have plateaued. It is challenging and rewarding. I have clients who have never exercised and who are working hard and reaching their weekly and monthly goals. I also have some who really want to meet their goals but it is really tough over coming the food challenges. That is people's toughest challenge for sure. Usually it is chocolate that calls their name:(
The kids have adapted well to the selling of their electronics. I don't know if I mentioned that we decided to sell the playstation and gameboys on ebay. The kids have had a great time playing outside, playing basketballs, hunting caterpillars, rollerblading, playing in the dirt and jumping on the trampoline. It is a great change from being entertained by the TV and games and they are getting used to coming up with stuff for themselves to do. It is great! Just getting ready for the summer! I am looking forward to NOT hearing them beg to play and who had the longer turn etc!
Well that is the main stuff...till next time!
I got up this morning at my usual 4:20 to go do training at the gym at 5:00 and 5:30 and got there and my 2 people didn't show up. I did get two belated messages that they weren't coming...this morning after I got there. Sigh...I could have slept in...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
